PhD courses

Here you can see which courses are included in the PhD program in economics. The courses offered during the first year are mandatory.

In addition to the mandatory courses, there are a large number of elective courses available in collaboration with the Stockholm School of Economics and Stockholm University.

All doctoral courses are conducted in English.

Courses in Uppsala:

Labor Economics II - Labor Demand

The course discusses labor demand with a focus on topics emphasized in recent research, such as the labor market impact of technological change and the role of firm-level wage policies in gender wage inequality.

Courses in Stockholm are conducted in collaboration with the Department of Economics at Stockholm University and the Stockholm School of Economics.
