New Game on Steam
A group of students at the bachelor programmes in Game Design just released a demo of their game "Odin's Defence" on the online store Steam - a strategy game they have been developing as part of their education and which is the focus for their bachelor thesis project where they are studying how players learn.
The game was awarded the "Jury Spotlight Award" and was nominated for best game design at the Gotland Game Conference 2025. It is always a joy to see student projects grow into fully realized games and even more so when they are also contributing to the knowledge about games and play.
