Trio awarded funding for artistic research project

The musician Karin Nelson Bonta and the musicologists Mattias Lundberg and Peter van Tour have been granted funding from the Swedish Research Council for an artistic research project entitled "Unlocking the Art of Composition: Playing with Purposefully Incomplete Keyboard Notations in Northern Europe". The project will deal with music from the 17th and 18th centuries and is placed at the Academy of Music and Drama, University of Gothenburg. The project will start in January 2026 and run for three years.
