Remembering the 350th anniversary of Carl Gustaf Wrangel's death

On the occasion of the 350th anniversary of the death of General Carl Gustaf Wrangel in 1676, Skokloster Castle and Skokloster Church are organizing an afternoon with mini-lectures and music from the period on Sunday, May 10 at 1 p.m. Associate Professor Maria Schildt at the Department of Musicology will lecture on funeral music in Sweden during the late 17th century. Between the lectures, organist Kevin Lembke will play the field organ that Wrangel donated to Skokloster Church.
