Chris Berry is a palaeobotanist who studies the fossil evidence for the Devonian transition to a forested planet, such as through the fossil forests preserved in New York and on Svalbard. Chris has a particular interest in the fossil record of compression fossils and anatomically preserved plants. He has conducted extensive fieldwork campaigns in South and North America, China, and the Arctic of Svalbard and Greenland.
