Licentiate defense of Karen Radetzky's licentiate thesis Investigating Interfaces for Perovskite Solar Cells with Photoelectron Spectroscopy.

  • Opponent: Jonas Weissenrieder, KTH
  • Examinator: Håkan Rensmo, Division of X-ray Photon Science, Department of Physics and Astronomy, Uppsala University

Abstract

Perovskite solar cells are promising devices for green electricity generation. However, low long-term stability impedes the wide application of this technology. In the seminar, research focusing on the interfaces for perovskite solar cells will be presented and discussed. The work is based on photoelectron spectroscopy studies on model systems and examines the energetic alignment at material interfaces as well as degradation pathways.
