Distinguished University Teachers

Since the end of 2011 particularly pedagogically merited teachers may apply for the title Distinguished University Teacher at Uppsala University. All permanently employed teachers may apply for the title, which is an important step to increase the quality of the education. The assessment is done by a workgroup with the support of two pedagogical experts, whereof one from a different educational institution, whereof at least one of them must have their scientific competence within the subject.
