Research at Department of Women's and Children's Health
The Department of Women's and Children's Health has a strong multiprofessional and international research environment. We conduct research aimed at improving the health of individuals, both in Sweden and globally. Our profile areas are gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, health sciences and e-health, global health and migration as well as physiotherapy, occupational therapy and behavioral medicine. Our department also includes three research-oriented centres: Centre for Health and Sustainability, The National Centre for Knowledge on Men's Violence against Women (NCK), Center for Women's Mental Health (WOMHER) and U-CARE: Uppsala University Psychosocial Care Programme.
