Director appointed for the Anders Sandrew Institute
Johan Jansson, senior lecturer at the Department of Human Geography, has been appointed director of the Anders Sandrew Institute for Culture and Creativity.
The Anders Sandrew Institute for Culture and Creativity is newly established with the aim of promoting innovative research and knowledge exchange in culture, creativity and artistic development.
The institute is a centre organisationally located within the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences, with the Department of Art History as its host department.
Johan Jansson, senior lecturer at the Department of Human Geography, will take up the position of director on 1 February 2026.
The role as director will cover 50 per cent. Tre role is a three-year position and can be extended. The role will be part of the director's regular employment at Uppsala University.
