SYLFF scholarships

A committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor is responsible for the management of the SYLFF (The Ryoichi Sasakawa Young Leaders Fellowship Fund) and the awarding of fellowships. The Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences chairs the committee and Norah Avielle of the Office of Humanities and Social Sciences is the coordinator.

The SYLFF Committee will meet in November 2025 to decide on the allocation of funds in 2026.

SYLFF Committee

Responsible for the administration of SYLFF and the awarding of scholarships is a committee appointed by the Vice-Chancellor, chaired by the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences. The members of the SYLFF Committee have a three-year term of office, from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.
