Opening times
The Linnaeus Garden and The Linnaeus Museum
During 2026 the garden and museum is open 14 May - 13 September. Groups are welcome to book visits to the garden 1 May - 30 September, and to the museum all year round.
Summer (May–September)
The garden and museum are open:
- 1–13 May: pre-booked groups only
- 14–31 May: Thursday–Sunday 11:00–16:00
- June–August: Tuesday–Sunday 11:00–16:00
Closed Midsummer Eve. - 1-13 September: Thursday–Sunday 11:00–16:00
- 1–30 September: pre-booked groups only
The garden gates close at 20:00.
Opening times may vary during events in the Linnaeus Garden.
Wintertime (October–April)
The Linnaeus Museum is open to pre-booked groups only.
The garden is closed.
Guided tours
Only available on days when the garden is open.
- In English at 11:30
- In Swedish at 14:30
The Linnaeus Museum is included in the guided tour when possible.
The ordinary guided tours are included in the admission.

Admission charges
During normal opening times
- Adults SEK 120
- Senior citizens SEK 100
- Students SEK 100 (students at Uppsala University admission free)
- Children (ages 0-17) admission free
Opening hours at public holidays
Other opening hours and admission fees may apply at public holidays and school holidays.
Admission and annual pass
There is an admission fee to the Tropical Greenhouse and to some events and tours.
