Call for applications for cross-cutting research projects
CIRCUS will award funding support to develop competitive grant applications for new cross-cutting research projects. Apply by 27 March 2025.
The main purpose with this support from CIRCUS (Centre for Integrated Research on Culture and Society) is to facilitate the development of new cross-cutting research projects within Uppsala University and ditto grant applications.
The support includes funding for up to 3 researchers to write applications to research funding bodies (both national and international), administrative support from staff at CIRCUS and a mandatory seminar series where project ideas and drafts are discussed and developed during Autumn 2025 and January 2026.
The support is grounded in the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences at Uppsala University, and therefore the main applicant should be employed at a department (or equivalent) within this domain. Researchers from the domains of medicine and pharmacy and science and technology, are welcome to apply as co-applicants.
