Eva Mörk proposed as new Vice-Rector and Torbjörn Gustafsson Chorell as Deputy Vice-Rector

The nominating committee of the electoral assembly at the Disciplinary Domain of Humanities and Social Sciences nominates Eva Mörk for election as Vice-Rector and Torbjörn Gustafsson Chorell for election as Deputy Vice-Rector.
The current term of office ends on 30 June 2026 for the disciplinary domain and faculty boards. Processes are therefore under way during spring 2026 to elect new board members and fill the leadership positions of vice-rector, deputy vice-rector, deans and deputy deans.
First up is the election of the vice-rector and deputy vice-rector. The vice-rector and deputy vice-rector are appointed by the Vice-Chancellor following proposals from the electoral assembly.
The nominating committee of the electoral assembly nominates Eva Mörk, Professor at the Department for Economics, for election as Vice-Rector, and Torbjörn Gustafsson Chorell, Professor at Department of History of Science and Ideas, for election as Deputy Vice-Rector.
There will be a hearing of candidates on 17 March. The electoral assembly will then decide on 25 March on nominations to send to the Vice-Chancellor for decision.
The new term of office starts on 1 July 2026.
