Admission and registration

Congratulation to being admitted as a new student at the Centre for Gender Research! On this page you will find information and instructions about how to activate your student account, register for your courses, and where to find course information, timetable and reading lists.

If you're a new student, the first thing to do is to activate your student account. You can do this a couple of days after having received the final admission decision. Your student account gives you access to the University's student gateway, network (fixed and WiFi), printing system, and several other systems that you need for your studies.

Activate your student account

If you are admitted to a course or programme you need to register in our student administrative system, Ladok. Registration is open until 2 September 2024.

Register for your courses

If you have problems registering, please contact our course administrator, Andrea Limmerstedt.

When you've been admitted and activated your student account, you can log in to the teaching platform, Studium. Here you'll find more specific information about your course or programme, including timetable and reading list.

Log in to Studium

Read the information on the start page of your course in Studium. The timetable is available five weeks before course start. You can also see your timetable in TimeEdit by searching for your course and the term in which it's given.

If you are conditionally admitted you can't register yourself in Ladok. You need to show that you meet the course's entry requirements before being able to register. Contact the course administrator Andrea Limmerstedt.

If you sent in a late application and have been admitted, you can either register via Ladok (if the registration period is still open), or contact the course administrator Andrea Limmerstedt.

If there are available spaces we start calling people placed on waiting lists from approximately one week before the course start via the e-mail address you have registered on universityadmissions.se. Remember to check your email spam folder.

If you have registered but no longer want to take the course, you can discontinue your studies via our student administration system Ladok, or contact the course administrator, Andrea Limmerstedt. If you discontinue within three weeks after starting the course and do not have any results, you may apply and be admitted to the course again.
