Incoming Exchange Students
If you are an incoming exchange student, contact the Study administration or consult the main University page for information on admission, registration, and other study matters.
Study Periods
The academic year is divided into two semesters. The semesters are then divided into four study periods. During an academic year you're supposed to do 60 credits worth of courses. This means that you're supposed to do 7.5 credits per study period.
The study periods are for courses and Programmes offered at the Faculty of Social Sciences:
Autumn 2026
- Period 1: 31 August - 30 September
- Period 2: 1 October - 3 November
- Period 3: 4 November – 6 December
- Period 4: 7 December – 17 January
Spring 2027
- Period 1: 18 January – 18 February
- Period 2: 19 February – 24 March
- Period 3: 25 March – 2 May
- Period 4: 3 May – 6 June
Autumn 2027
- Period 1: 30 August - 30 September
- Period 2: 1 October - 3 November
- Period 3: 4 November – 7 December
- Period 4: 8 December – 16 January
Spring 2028
- Period 1: 17 January – 17 February
- Period 2: 18 February – 22 March
- Period 3: 23 March – 27 April
