Information to new Master's students
When you have been accepted to the Master's Programme in Human Geography, you will need to create a student account and register in Ladok to keep your spot in the program. More information about Ladok and other important information can be found via the Student gateway.
After your accceptance has been confirmed, you must register by 2026-08-24 to keep your spot in the programme. After 24 August, your spot will go to someone on the reserve list. Registration opens when the information is transferred from antagning.se around 23 July 2026.
When you have registered for the introductory courses of the programme, you will also be registered for the programme:
- 2KU260 Thinking Spatially: Key Concepts in Human Geography (2026-08-31–2026-09-30)
- 2KU261 Economic Geographies of Knowledge, Innovation, and Uneven Development (2026-10-01–2026-11-03)
- 2KU262 Environmental Geography: Resources, Risks, Responses (2026-11-04–2026-12-06)
- 2KU263 Migration and Demography: Geographical Perspectives (2026-12-07–2027-01-17)
Information for reserves
If the program is not full, reserve admission starts on August 25, 2026 and runs until September 4.
In other words, reserve admission also runs during the first week of the semester, if there are dropouts.
Reserves will be contacted via www.antagning.se and the email that you have registered there.
If you are accepted as a reserve, contact studier@kultgeog.uu.se to be registered.
