Admission and registration

Read carefully the information below, it explains what you need to do in order to keep your place on the course/programme you are admitted to.

New Master's Students in the Master's Program in Statistics and Data Science

New students in the Master's Program in Statistics and Data Science register on the programme at a mandatory roll call on campus in Uppsala. The date and time for the roll call are August 29, 2025, at 9:15 AM in room H317 on campus Ekonomikum. Please bring a valid form of identification, preferably a passport. Students who do not attend the roll call and have not notified their absence in advance will have their applications cancelled.

Admitted

To keep your place, you must register on your courses in the upcoming semester. Please note that the registration period may vary between different courses and departments. For most courses, registration closes some time before the semester starts. It is your responsibility to check what applies to you. You register for your courses in Ladok, where you can also see the exact registration dates. We recommend registering as early as possible.

Admitted with conditions

If you are admitted with conditions to your courses or programme, you must contact the department no later than the registration deadline to confirm that you want to keep your place. We will then reserve your place until you can prove that you meet the entry requirements, but no later than the course start.

Reserve

Any reserves that can be offered a place after the second selection will receive an email with a time-limited offer to the email address you stated on antagning.se or universityadmissions.se. Remember to also check in your junk mail.

Withdrawing your admission

If you have accepted your place but are no longer interested in it, it is important to let us know you won't be attending the course or programme. If you haven’t yet registered and don’t wish to keep your place, decline your offer on Universityadmissions.se.

If you have already registered for the course but decide to not attend, you must contact the department directly.

Registration problems

If you are admitted with conditions, encounter any problems or if something is unclear regarding your registration, you need to contact the department no later than the registration deadline.

Once you have registered, you will find all course information – information about course start, schedule, course literature and contact information for the course coordinator – on the course page for each course in the learning platform Studium
