In the Qualifying Course in Swedish as a Foreign Language Level 1, 2 and 3 you will develop your language skills in an inspiring learning environment with dedicated teachers and a lot of teacher-led education. You will exchange experiences and knowledge with the other students and the course will support you in navigating and participating in Swedish higher education. Depending on your proficiency in Swedish, you can take all the courses or just one or two.

In the course you will develop your skills in reading, speaking, writing and understanding Swedish in higher education. You will practice your oral proficiency through discussions, presentations and seminars. You will exercise your pronunciation both in groups and through individual feedback from the teacher. You will write in genres linked to different parts of higher education and you will get feedback on your texts from both students and teachers. You will get support in understanding, analyzing and using Swedish grammar. You will get an opportunity to systemically expand your vocabulary and your reading comprehension through reading a wide range of texts.

Every level consists of one semester of full-time studies that require you to be committed and actively participating in the classes on campus.
