The Geijer Prize

The Geijer Prize is awarded every three years to researchers at Uppsala University who, during that three-year period, have earned a PhD with a thesis within the subject of Swedish history considered particularly notable.

The prize jury consists of both teachers and students.

The prize is awarded at the University’s anniversary celebration in October.
