Personalised Learning Technology to Inform Equitable Access and Inclusive Education for Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

Carin Andrews, post-doc at SWEDESD has been part of a participatory formation expert evaluation of an Interactive Personalised Learning Technology to Inform Equitable Access and Inclusive Education for Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

– I am very pleased to have input into this important project as one of the expert reviewers on how educational technology could be adapted for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). The Onetab and Onecourse have been Introduced in several high-, middle-, and low-income countries, and is currently being scaled nationally to all state-run primary schools in Malawi. The participatory formative evaluation presented in this paper aimed to promote educational technology access to children with SEND, in accordance with the 2030 Sustainable Development Goal for equitable access and inclusive education for all, Carin explains.
