About Centre for Health Economic Research (HEFUU)
The Centre for Health Economic Research (HEFUU) at Uppsala University is an interdisciplinary forum for researchers from the social sciences and medical faculty interested in health economics.
HEFUU wants to contribute to improved and equally distributed health in the population. We do so by contributing knowledge that can be foundational for steering health and medical care. The center aims to generate health economic knowledge by pursuing interdisciplinary research projects, cooperating with other national and international research communities, and working for the development of infrastructure services for health economics.
We wish to increase the dissemination of health economic research by being a central node for health- and medical care, government, and industry. We also want to promote education in health economics at the undergraduate, Master's, and Ph.D. levels. HEFUU also organizes interdisciplinary, university-wide meetings.
