Exciting meeting with the WHO Director-General during this year’s Dag Hammarskjöld Lecture

On 26 November, WHO Director-General Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus visited the University Main Building to deliver this year’s Dag Hammarskjöld Lecture to a full audience. During the visit, researcher Oscar Erixson had the opportunity to inform on the ongoing research programme “Do cities create or attract individuals in good health?”
In the conversation, Erixson highlighted the programme’s work to understand how urban environments influence population health and the mechanisms behind geographical differences in well-being – knowledge that is essential for shaping the sustainable and equitable cities of the future.
