About Centre for Discipline-based education research
The centre started 2013 within the domain of science and technology. It reports to the board of science and technology, which also has outlined the instructions for the centre. The activities of the centre is led by a council and a coordinator.
The goal of MINT is to promote and coordinate discipline-based education research (DBER) within all disciplines at the Faculty of Science and Tehnology. The centre aims to contribute to excellence in DBER at the faculty, as well as through collaboration with other parties, contribute to the development of the educational environment at the university.
The council decides the strategy of the centre and guidelines for activities. The coordinator implements activities based on the strategy within the guidelines.
The Chairman of the Board is Urban Eriksson, Professor of Physics Education.
Coordinator of the centre is Anna Eckerdal, Docent in computer science education research.
