Joanne Woodford receives grant from the Kamprad Family Foundation

Congratulations to Joanne Woodford, who has been awarded a grant of SEK 4,800,000 from the Kamprad Family Foundation.

The Kamprad Family Foundation recently awarded grants within the area of Improved Quality of Life for the Elderly. In line with this initiative, Joanne's project aims to evaluate the utility of the INVOLVERA self-help program for individuals with dementia and their relatives. The project focuses on reducing depression, enhancing well-being, improving quality of life, and strengthening self-care abilities for individuals with dementia.

The project is titled "Active Together Despite Cognitive Impairment: Feasibility and Evaluation of a Behavioral Activation Intervention (INVOLVE) for individuals with dementia experiencing depression and low well-being” ("Aktiva tillsammans trots kognitiv nedsättning: Genomförbarhet och utvärdering av en beteendeaktiveringsintervention (INVOLVERA) för personer med demens som upplever nedstämdhet och lågt välbefinnande”).
