Prestigious grant awarded for dementia research

Professor Anna Cristina Åberg.
Congratulations to Professor Anna Cristina Åberg, researcher in the CIRCLE research group, who has been awarded 100 000 SEK in project funding from King Gustaf V's and Queen Victoria's Foundation.
The grant will be used to conduct sub-studies focused on dual-task tests for early identification of increased risk of dementia, within the ongoing longitudinal Uppsala-Dalarna Dementia and Gait project (UDDGait).
The research grant will be presented at a ceremony attended by Queen Silvia of Sweden.
I am grateful for the grant and look forward to the award ceremony, as well as the opportunity to further develop the analyses in UDDGait, says Anna Cristina Åberg.
