PhD student position on equity and inclusion in clinical trials

U-CARE and the research group CIRCLE at Uppsala University are now looking for a motivated PhD student to join an exciting project on equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) in clinical trial research.
The project investigates how insufficient consideration of EDI in clinical trials may contribute to poorer health outcomes among underserved populations. Based on these insights, the PhD student will help develop strategies to make clinical trials more inclusive and better able to meet the needs of diverse patient groups.
The role involves working with clinical trial and population register data, conducting quantitative analyses, synthesising existing research, and contributing to publications and presentations.
