The Baltic University Programme (BUP)
The Baltic University Programme is one of the largest university cooperation's in the world, with more than 110 participating universities in the Baltic Sea Region, cooperating for education and research in Sustainable Development and Democracy.
We foster knowledge and cooperation in the field of sustainable development and Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) with a focus on our ten BUP themes.
We aim to support building strong regional educational and research communities as well as organising academic events for students.

The BUP educational material bank
The material bank is envisioned to give colleagues at BUP participating universities the opportunity to download and use a wide range of material while creating courses at their university. The material can be used as a whole or as part of a course, for example, there are many example lectures that may prove useful.

Workshop: 'Young Researchers for a Plastic Free Baltic Sea Region'
The three-day workshop will be organised for current master's and PhD students at BUP participating universities and other universities in the Baltic Sea Region (BSR), who aim to become future researchers, experts, and decision-makers.

The BUP Course Platform
One of the key missions of the BUP is the creation of courses from different academic disciplines with both theoretical and practical focuses. View our free massive open online courses (MOOCs) that are unique in that they focus on sustainability in a Baltic Sea Region context.
