Short presentation
Currently my research focuses on the relationship(s) between narrative abilities and reading and writing skills in Swedish-speaking primary school children (age 6 to 9). I investigate various narrative aspects (macrostructure, microstructure) in both oral and written narratives, as well as different reading and writing skills (decoding, reading comprehension, spelling) and also considers the influence of the child's background (parental education, multilingualism).
