Research
PhD project, January 2021–spring 2026:
In my project, I investigate how social media comments to news articles by public service media relate to core journalistic and editorial tasks such as news framing, media criticism and user regulation. More specifically, I am interested in finding about how the linguistic and communicative practices of the commenting users contribute to the re-negotiation of traditional roles between news producer and news consumer.
