Short presentation

I hold a PhD in Italian linguistics with a focus on teaching Italian and have published over ten academic papers in my field. My research interests encompass intercultural communication, the concept of identity, digital communication, implicit communication and learning/teaching Italian in Sweden. I have extensive experience in teaching courses to students at different levels in several international contexts.

Biography

After obtaining my Bachelor of Arts in Cultural and Linguistic Mediation (English, Spanish and French linguistics and literature) from Università degli Studi di Padova (Italy), I specialised in Italian linguistics with a focus on teaching Italian to foreigners by obtaining first a Master of Arts from Università per Stranieri di Siena (Itay) and then a PhD from Università per Stranieri di Perugia (Italy). During my PhD studies I was appointed as a teaching assistant, a role that involved both teaching and supervision. I also authored more than ten scientific publications.

After having lived in several European countries I speak fluent Italian, English, Spanish, French and Swedish.
