Short presentation

I am a senior lecturer in Swedish as a second language. My main research interests are multilingualism and language contact. My reserach focuses on four main areas: loanword phonology, bilingualism in the Turkish diaspora, language policy and historical sociolinguistics. Currently, I am working on the project "New perspectives on goal achievement in Sweden's multicultural language policy" funded by Erik Wellanders Fond.
