Lecture with Prof Lenore Manderson

Professor Lenore Manderson will be giving the opening lecture for the Master course Contemporary Issues in Medical Anthropology, Monday Jan. 16that 10.15am. The general topic of the first lecture of the course is Health, political ecology, and pandemics. Lenore will be presenting an aspct of this theme, focusing on the role of medical anthropology and pandemic preparedness.

On Monday January 16, in Ihresalen 15.15-17, we will run the joint information meeting in English and Swedish for our new undergraduate students atCultural Anthropology A, Ethnology A and African Studies. In the end we will run a presentation round where the staff introduce themselves.
