Research center

The Department of Economics hosts three research centers: Uppsala Center for Labor Studies (UCLS), Uppsala Center for Fiscal Studies (UCFS) and Uppsala Immigration Lab (UIL). Furthermore, the department runs the Urban Lab in collaboration with the Institute for Housing and Urban Research (IBF). In addition, the department is active in the Center for Health Economics Research (HEFUU), which is an interdisciplinary center in collaboration with the Faculty of Medicine and Pharmacy and the Faculty of Social Sciences.
