Leyla Belle Drake awarded the 2025 Benzelius Prize

Leyla Belle Drake is the recipient of the 2025 Benzelius Prize, awarded by the Royal Society of Sciences at Uppsala, for her doctoral dissertation about witnessing practices at the 1967 Russell Tribunal on American war crimes in Vietnam.

Leyla completed her PhD in 2024 and is now research coordinator and teacher at the Swedish Institute for North American Studies (SINAS).
