From industry to academia – article in Science
Yumeng Mao has recently taken up a position as associate senior lecturer at IGP. In this week’s issue of the journal Science he shares his plans for how he intends to make use of his experiences from industry in his work in academia
In the article he writes for instance that academia would benefit from more interactions across disciplinary boundaries and that he plans to reach out to researchers in different fields. He also plans to lead by example, making it clear that he thinks work-life balance is important.
