Submissions

Slovo accepts contributions written in any Slavic or Scandinavian language, as well as English. We also warmly welcome contributions by researchers in early stages of their career, PhD students and postdocs. 

Slovo uses double-blind review, and each research article submitted to Slovo is reviewed by two reviewers. To facilitate the reviewing process, we kindly ask the authors to prepare the manuscripts in a way that their identity is not given away.

Slovo comes out in December-January, so even though we accept contributions all year, we recommend to send us your materials before 1 June in order to get the reviews and implement the suggested changes in time.

All accepted manuscripts must be formatted according to the Slovo stylesheet Pdf, 363 kB., using the Slovo template Word, 118 kB.. For additional guidance, consult the manual How to Use the Slovo Template Pdf, 2 MB..

All accepted manuscripts by non-native speakers must be proofread by native speakers.

Manuscripts are submitted electronically as both Word and PDF files, and mailed to slovo@moderna.uu.se.
