Application process

The Rotary Peace Fellowships are offered on a globally-competitive basis. The application process for the Rotary Peace Fellowship at Uppsala University is two-fold.

First, applicants submit their Rotary Peace Fellowship application and supplementary materials to the Rotary Foundation through a set online form which can be found on the "My Rotary" website. Deadline for the first step in the application process (submitting applications to the Rotary Foundation) is 15 May.

Applicants cannot have citizenship or permanent residency in the country where the center is located. Complete details of all of the Rotary Peace Centers can be found at Rotary Peace Fellowship website.

Second, candidates selected to the Uppsala Rotary Peace Fellowship Program then complete the application procedure for admission to the Master’s Programme in Peace and Conflict Studies at Uppsala University. For more information about the admission to the Master's programme, see the Master's Programme in Peace and Conflict Studies webpage.

While many of the eligibility criteria and required application documents overlap, there are some differences, including those specific to where candidates have studied in the past. Please read the checklist to learn about the eligibility criteria for each process: Checklist for applications for Uppsala Rotary Peace Fellowship.pdf Pdf, 161 kB.
