Christina Vantaraki Awarded the Colonias-Jansson Scholarship
Christina Vantaraki, PhD student at the Division of Materials Physics has been awarded the first Colonias-Jansson Scholarship.
The Colonias-Jansson Scholarship is a scholarship that is open for applications from PhD students at the Department of Physics and Astronomy and is awarded by the Colonias-Jansson Foundation.
The goal of the foundation is to promote research at the Department of Physics and Astronomy at Uppsala University by providing scholarships to graduate students at the department. The foundation shall aim to award one or more scholarships annually named Colonias-Jansson Scholarships. The receiver of the scholarship must be a well-deserved doctoral student of physics at Uppsala University, preferentially of Greek origin, but otherwise from a) Sweden or b) another country.
