Baltic Geopolitics Network

As a member of the Baltic Geopolitics Network, the Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies is part of a collaborative initiative that brings together scholars and research institutions from across the Baltic Sea region and the United Kingdom. The network, convened by the Centre for Geopolitics’ at Cambridge University, aims to strengthen academic cooperation and foster the exchange of knowledge on the history and politics of this strategically important region.

Through this partnership, we engage in joint research activities, support academic and student exchanges, and contribute to the development of lasting institutional collaborations. The network provides a platform for sharing expertise and promoting dialogue among scholars working on Baltic and wider Eurasian geopolitical issues.

Since its establishment with 11 founding members, the Baltic Geopolitics Network has grown to include over 20 institutions and continues to expand, welcoming new partners from across the region and beyond.
