The Cluster brings together 10 researchers from both organisations to explore and develop interdisciplinary collaborative projects across both countries.

- We are excited to begin this first step in our partnership with CIRCUS. The Cluster will be a place of creativity and experimentation, where researchers with complementary skills and expertise will come together to share best practice and develop innovative projects, says Professor Christine Gerrard, chef för TORCH.

- I expect that this initiative will provide ample opportunities for researchers at Oxford and Uppsala to explore shared interests and lay foundations for new innovative projects, says Professor Claes-Fredrik Helgesson, Research Director of CIRCUS.

- We at CIRCUS have in our endeavours to facilitate research collaborations for a long time benefited hugely from our conversations with TORCH. I’m extremely pleased that we now are taking this to the next level by together offering a concrete platform for the researchers from our two universities to meet and explore opportunities for further collaborations.
