Renting Gustavianum

Gustavianum is available for rental outside regular opening hours. The university museum features five exhibitions, including the Anatomical Theater and the Augsburg Art Cabinet. In the staircase hall, food and drinks can be arranged, applicable only for cocktail events as there are no seating options. Gustavianum can accommodate a total of 400 people, including the exhibitions. Auditorium Minus can also be rented outside opening hours for smaller lectures and events, offering 50 seats.

Gustavianum's premises cannot be rented on Mondays.

Access to the Premises

The premises are only accessible during the booked time. For the delivery, setup, and removal of catering, these tasks must always be completed within the booking period. We charge per started hour, meaning that if the client uses the premises beyond the booked time, an additional cost will be incurred.

Cancellation

For cancellations 15-30 days before the booked date, half of the venue rental will be charged. For cancellations 0-14 days before the booked date, the entire venue rental will be charged.

Food and Beverage

All drinks and refreshments in Gustavianum's premises must be ordered through Uppsala University's contracted catering companies; link to contact information. As the organizer, you are responsible for contacting the catering companies. Please note that it is not allowed to provide refreshments and drinks on your own or through a catering company other than those contracted by the university.

Refreshments may only be served in the staircase hall. Due to the culturally sensitive nature of the premises, there are certain limitations on what can be consumed and served. Red wine and other beverages that may stain the floor are not allowed to be served.

Rental of Auditorium Minus:

Weekdays, except Mondays, 9-11 a.m. 2500 SEK two hours

Weekday evenings after 5 p.m. 2500 SEK per hour

Rental of Gustavianum, 2 hours, outside regular opening hours 5000 SEK
