Botany
- The botany database contains information about more than 1.2 million herbarium specimens, including vascular plants, bryophytes, algae, lichens and other fungi. The database is continuously updated.
- Our data can also be found, together with information from the other large Swedish herbaria, in the Virtual Herbarium of Sweden. The dataset is updated a few times a year.
- Thunberg's Japanese Plants - an image database. This database contains high resolution images of all Japanese specimens in Carl Peter Thunberg’s herbarium at the Museum of Evolution, with texts in English and Japanese.
- Santesson’s Checklist of Fennoscandian Lichen-Forming and Lichenicolous Fungi. Search the database or download the checklist from 2021 pdf, 31 MB.(pdf).
Zoology
- The zoology database contains information about more than 200,000 zoological museum specimens. The database is continuously updated.
- Alvin, platform for digital collections and digitized cultural heritage contains high resolution images of insects from the Linnaean collection of the Museum of Evolution.
