Entrance fee
- Adults: 70 kr. The ticket is valid in both exhibition buildings.
- Pensioners: 50 kr. The ticket is valid in both exhibition buildings.
- Children up to and including 17 år: free admission.
- Accompanying persons and personal assistants: free admission.
- Employees and students of Uppsala University: free admission on presentation of campus card or business card.
Annual pass
Our annual pass costs 200 kr and grants the holder free admission to both exhibition buildings for 1 year from date of purchase. The card is personal.
Museum cards
Admission is free for the holders of a Uppsala University gift card or a member card of DIK, ICOM, UMI or the Swedish Museums Association. Free admission for the press on presentation of press card and ID.
Payment
We accept payment by all major credit cards, Swish or cash.
Guided tours
Tours for private groups (up to 30 people)
Guided tour: 800 kr
Late guided tour: (17:00 – 20:00): 1 200 kr
Guided tour on Saturday and Sunday: 1 600 kr

Find us
Our exhibitions are in two buildings.
In the Museum of Evolution Zoology on Villavägen 9 animals from all over the world are on display.
In The Museum of Evolution Palaeontology on Norbyvägen 22 we show minerals and fossils, including our dinosaurs.
The museum shop
Don’t miss our museum shop! You find it in our Palaeontology building on Norbyvägen 22. If you just want to find a souvenir or a gift you can of course visit the shop without paying the entrance fee for the rest of the museum.
In the museum shop you can find soft toys, magnets, postcards, books, jigsaw puzzles and games. There are also real fossils and minerals for those interested in Geology. Every item that is for sale has a connection to our collections and exhibitions.
The shop is operated by the museum and all profit is used for the museum’s activities.
Photography
You are welcome to take photos for your personal use and for sharing on social media. Please tag #Evolutionsmuseet and #MuseumOfEvolution!
For professional and commercial photography you need to contact us in advance to get permission.
Animals
Service dogs on duty are welcome to the Museum of Evolution. Other animals are not allowed to enter the buildings.
