A research museum
Scientists at the Museum of Evolution study a wide range of subjects, from minerals and fossils to living animals, lichens and vascular plants.
The museum’s collections are regularly used by the researchers of Uppsala University and other research institutions around the world. Each year, a large number of scientific articles are published based on material from the museum’s collections.
