Mapping of Interdisciplinary Research in SSH

Multidisciplinarity, pluridisciplinarity, and interdisciplinarity are concepts often used in research contexts, but their definitions and interrelationships are not clearly established. This project aimed to help clarify these issues and to empirically examine actual conditions within the HUMSAM field at Uppsala University. The project resulted in a report in which collaborations, in the form of research applications submitted to the Swedish Research Council and Forte, were analysed using descriptive statistics and network analysis.
