Mapping of Research withing the Program WASP-HS

The project aimed to provide an overview of research within WASP-HS during the period 2019–2022, based on the programme’s projects and publications by participating researchers and doctoral students. The goal was to map the research focus, dissemination, and collaboration patterns.

The project focused on two parts of the programme’s activities:

• Mapping of WASP-HS-funded projects: Information on research groups, researchers, and doctoral students was collected through publicly available sources. The focus was on disciplinary areas, research orientations, higher education institutions, and departmental affiliation.
• Analysis of publications: Publications were retrieved from SwePub and analysed in terms of type, publication outlets, language, research orientation, subject area, the authors’ institutions, and the occurrence of national and international co-publications. The selection was delimited using keywords and, when necessary, supplemented by reading titles and abstracts to assess relevance in relation to WASP-HS.
