Mapping Research on Educational Science in Sweden

On commission from the Swedish Research Council’s Committee for Educational Sciences, HERO was tasked with mapping Swedish educational sciences research during the period 2001–2021. The focus was placed on two aspects of educational sciences research: publications and external funding. Data were collected from Swepub, Swecris, the Swedish Institute for Educational Research, the private databases of a number of smaller funders, and Web of Science. To analyse the material, several methods were used, including descriptive statistics, network analysis, and geometric data analysis. The project resulted in three reports, which are listed below.
