Pianist wanted for tour to Vienna!

We are looking for a student who would like to play the piano part in Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances, at the concert on May 17 and join us on the tour 29/5-1/6 in Vienna!

Uppsala University's own symphony orchestra, the Royal Academic Orchestra, will go on tour to Vienna at the end of May and the tour will begin with a concert on Saturday, May 17, in Uppsala, in the University Hall.

We are now looking for a student who would like to play the piano part in Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances, at the concert on May 17 and join us on the tour 29/5-1/6 to Vienna!

Repertoire and info

The Royal Academic Orchestra will perform Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances, Alfvén Dalarapsodi, Tarrodi Flyttfåglar and Crusell Introduction et air suédois. The tour is in collaboration with the Technical University of Vienna. Conductor: Stefan Karpe

Soloists: Emilie Wästlund (oboe) and Clara Inés García López (clarinet)

Concerts

  • May 17: University Auditorium, 3:00 p.m.-approx. 17.00 (incl. 20 min break)
  • May 29-June 1: Tour to Vienna, Austria where the same repertoire will be performed in two concerts.
