What does the sea sound like? Is it calm and shimmering—or wild and stormy? Welcome to a family concert where we dive into the world of the sea together with the Royal Academic Orchestra.

The programme features Claude Debussy’s powerful La mer (The Sea), in which the orchestra paints the sea’s ever-changing movements, and Germaine Tailleferre’s sparkling Concertino for Harp and Orchestra, where the harp glistens like sunlight dancing on the surface of the water.
Between the movements, our presenter will guide the audience through the music in a clear and engaging way—perfect for children and young people from around the age of 10, and just as fascinating for adults.
- Conductor: Stefan Karpe
- Presenter: Samuel Åhman
- Soloist: Caroline Nilsson-Breman, harp
