Phd Colloquium for Historical Studies

With an aim to transcend institutional differences in historical research, the ”PhD Colloquium for Historical Studies” investigates what it entails to do historical work. Over the course of multiple seminars, doctoral students are invited to meet and discuss both differing and overlapping perspectives on historical studies.

While the Colloquium emanated as an idea to bring together PhD students within the three disciplines of History, Economic History and History of Ideas, many other disciplines exist at Uppsala University with a historical focus in the featured research topics. As such anyone with a historical methodology or perspective in their doctoral project are warmly welcome to attend.
